The DAF XF is renowned for its fuel efficiency, reliability, and advanced technological features. The XF was designed for industry-leading fuel economy with features such as higher torque at lower revs, high-efficiency rear axles and aerodynamic improvements to help with air flow.
DAF designed the XF truck to be a hassle-free companion for any truck driver and their vehicles include dynamic cruise control, improved driver comfort and reduced wiring and connections when attaching a trailer to the XF tractor unit.
Additionally, service intervals were extended on the DAF XF to every 200,000km with an aim of reducing maintenance costs and maximising the amount of time on the road between services.
In modern times, DAF has launched an electric version of the XF to lead the transition to electric HGVs. The electric XF is powered by PACCAR EX-D2 e-motors and has a range of almost 500km on a full charge.
